Hi Support,
I have follow the knowledge base share from microsoft, i notice some IP although I put under allow list but I can't access the site.
What's the requirement to setup this? From my test below; only 2 out of 3 is working. I believe some configuration missing.
Regards,
Shiro

Hi Cherry,
We did configured according to microsoft best practice at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/get-started/whats-new-in-iis-8/iis-80-dynamic-ip-address-restrictions#:~:text=(IIS)%20Manager.-,Highlight%20your%20server%20name%2C%20website%2C%20or%20folder%20path%20in%20the,box%20to%20Enable%20Proxy%20Mode.
The guideline given was almost same as given. We would like to know does this configuration will work for public IP only, it doesn't work for private IP? Or can we mixed private & public IP at this "Allow entry" list?
We notice when we put private & public IP under this "Allow entry" it doesn't work for public IP.
Does anyone encounter same issues?
Regards,
Shiro

Hi,
We usually set the restrictions for private ips, not see this applied to public ips.
How about check firewall setting? Go to CP -> Windows Firewall -> Advanced settings -> Inbound Rules -> New Rule... Select port, TCP, your port number and a name. Also make sure that if you have another firewall, add an exception for it too, or disable it.
Here are two articles about how public ip access to IIS website for reference:
