Windows 2008 Terminal Server Printing slow across WAN

  • Hello, We have a 64bit, 2008 Terminal server with multiple branch office locations. When trying to print from 1 office to the other (to a Konica Minolta copier/printer via TCP/IP). The printing is very slow. If I select a 1mb pdf file to print, when I look in the queue it says the job is spooling 35mb and prints 1 page per minute.

I have tried installing the TCP/IP printer directly on the Terminal Server and printing from the admin account. The problem also happens when printing from the client workstations via the redirected printer driver through the session. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
