Volume C: (\Device\HarddiskVolume6) needs to be taken offline to perform a Full Chkdsk. Please run "CHKDSK /F" locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:>" locally or remotely via PowerShell. RRS feed

  • Disc check everytime on bootup and I have also done a cmd scan which stated that the next time my system boots up it'll scan and repair but even after that there is a scan everytime i boot my PC. Can anyone help on how to solve it. Appreciate it

    Please try to press f8 when start the machine and boot into WinRE mode, run the following command:

    chkdsk C: /f

    chkdsk C: /r

    Restart the machine and see if the issue will recur.
