    need help please...I no longer use an exchangeserver/account so I checked the "help" file to remove an account...

    after reading how to create a pst I removed the exchange account not knowing it would remove all of the folders, emails and contacts from outlook 2007/windows7. Can someone help me restore the ost data?

    Hello,

    As I understand, you issue is: OST file is deleted, and you can't create the profile again because your account is no longer associated with the Exchange mailbox,

     

    If this is the case, to get the emails, you need to export the mailbox to an PST file from the exchange server,

    if your mailbox is deleted also, so you need to restore it from a previous backup.

    From your description, I understand that you remove the Exchange Server account in your Outlook, and now you want to restore the ost data. Please correct me if I misunderstand you.

     

    Do you have the pst  file you created for your Outlook now?

     

    If you have pst file for the Outlook, you can recreate the profile and input the pst file.

     

    If not, you can follow Ibrahim’s suggestion to get the emails.

    You want to restore ost file to pst file try third party exchange ost converter tool to export ost to pst all items.
