  • Hi,

Run “sfc /scannow” to check/repair system files.

Event ID you had mentioned indicates lqcsapi.exe, I want to confirm with you if it is the software which you had installed on your server system? If possible, try to uninstall it and check the result.

If problem persists, please provide more information about your problem:
    1. OS name and version – run “winver” or “msinfo32” to check details.
    2. The phenomenon and detail error message.
    3. Is there any change before problem happens? Such as new installation, update and etc.

    Best Regards,
    Eve Wang

    • OS name : windows server 2012 R2 standard
    • OS version : 6.3.9600 build 9600
    •  LQCSAPI is the node js application service I installed. The problem is the service is getting shut down frequently giving the above error in event viewer log. I am not able to figure out what is the issue. There was some MS patches update on that machine, thinking it might be causing the service to shutdown we uninstalled those patches, but still the issue remains same. I see only this error every time in event viewer before service gets shutdown.

    Thanks Eve Wang

  • Hi,

If problem happens after update installation, please make run PowerShell cmdlet “get-hotfix” to list installed updates, check the installation date and time, make sure these updates which may have effect on the problem have been installed. Besides, another possible way to undo the change is system restoration, re-store system back to original working status and check the result.

As it is a 3rd party crashing problem, first please run “sfc /scannow” to check and repair system files, make sure it is a health system state. Then, I am wondering if there is a possible way to have a repair installation of the problematic application.

    Best Regards,
    Eve Wang
