What is Report an Issue in Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac RRS feed

  • Microsoft Remote Desktop (Beta) has "Report an Issue" in Help menu. It opens a window titled Feedback. I cannot see what it is and what it is used for. Will MSFT support person contact me? Or issue reports are available on the web?

    "Tapping spacebar quickly in password box immediately changes double-space "  " to dot and space(". "),causing my password never match. this happens both in "show password" turned on/off. I've enabled "add period with double-space" in mac OS System Preferences(High Sierra).I didn't expect text corrections word against password box in PC/notebook."

    1 if you not tap spacebar more slowly in password box ,will your issue not happen ?

    2 what's the Microsoft Remote Desktop (Beta) version now ?

    3 if you use Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac Version 10.3.0 (1631) on your Mac computer ,will there be the same problem?

    did you mean when you enter password in below picture ,"text corrections"app changes doube-space "  " to dot and space(". ") ?

    I mean, Are issues reported via the Feedback window available on the web?

    UserVoice doesn't have them.

    6 if microsoft provide this function ,i think it is usefull.but i am not sure if there is support engineer can contact you.

  • You'll see the same behavior in the macOS WiFi password dialog when the "show password" checkbox is selected. In fact, that dialog will expand shortcuts like "omw" to "On my way!".
