How Clear Administrative Events (log)?

    Question

  • How can I clear (delete) my Hyper-V Administrative Events (log)? I don't see any Clear option...

    Thanks.

  • Right clicking on "Admin" should bring up "Clear Log.." option. If not did you have any installation issues on this machine?

  • Thanks.

Sorry, found it. Was looking at the wrong place (Custom Views -> Administrative Events) instead of Event Viewer-> "Applications and Services Logs", "Microsoft", "Windows" -> Hyper-V-* -> Admin where right-clicking indeed gives me a Clear Log option.

  • Right clicking on the Windows Logs (Applicaton, Security, ...) gives me a Clear Log option but not for Custom Views -> Administrative Events.
No I didn't have any install issues on my machine.
