Windows server 2016 & Windows 10 Domain GPO Issue RRS feed

  • I have windows 2012 R2 domain controller;

    I have machines joining the domain with operating system Windows 7/ Windows 10/ Windows server 2012 R2/ Windows Server 2016 and all this machine on one OU;

    When creating GPO on this OU it's apply on all of the above except Windows server 2016 & Windows 10;

    When check on the machine with Windows 7/ Windows server 2012 R2 the CMD gpresult /r I found GPO esist and applied; 

    And when check on the machine with Windows 10/ Windows Server 2016 the CMD gpresult /r I found GPO not exist; 

    Any help???

  • Hi,

    Have you checked the below listed:

    1. Has the PC been restarted since it was placed in its current OU?

    2.Have Domain Users and Domain Computers been given Read access on the Delegation tab of the GPO?

    3.Run gpudpate /force, both on DC and on target computer. Reboot the target computer and check if policy are hitting the target machine or not.

    4. Does anything show up in your Event Viewer in regards to the GPO failing to apply?
