  • Hi,

The DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE bug check has a value of 0x0000009F. This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

    Please check the following information:

    1. To troubleshoot whether the issue is related to a third party service, please check the symptom in a clean boot environment.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

    2. Check the System Log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help pinpoint the device or driver that is causing the error. For more information, see Open Event Viewer. Look for critical errors in the system log that occurred in the same time window as the blue screen.

    3. If you recently added hardware to the system, try removing or replacing it. Or check with the manufacturer to see if any patches are available. Try running the hardware diagnostics supplied by the system manufacturer.

    4. Try to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10 and install the latest updates.

For further help, please upload the dump file to your OneDrive and post here.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Yilia

Looks like the USB hub driver is responsible for this problem: try updating it and look for other updated versions of the software for your PC, since you wrote that it is faulting after you've updated it to Windows 10.

    Bye.

The USB hub driver is usually part of the chipset driver: you have to refer to the computer manufacturer's web site (if you have a branded PC) or to the motherboard's manufacturer's web site.

    Bye.
