  • I upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Before upgrading windows 8.1 there were Bluetooth devices added to my laptop, i can remove it easily. After upgrading, it shows the Bluetooth device along with local disk but i can't remove these devices nor i can connect to these devices. Its in my system like virus. How can i manage it?

  • Verify that you have the latest bluetooth drivers for Windows 8.1 installed from the manufacturer's website.

  • I'm confused. My system has a Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0 + HS device, but the latest download driver is Intel.

I have had Bluetooth issues ever since I purchased the computer, about 2 months ago. After I upgraded to 8.1, every time I wanted to use the bluetooth, I had to remove it and then "re-pair" and it would work fine until I turned it off. Then same scenario all over again. So yesterday, I downloaded the latest Intel driver and now the icon is gone and I can't find the bluetooth device in the device manager.

I removed the Intel driver and no change. When I open the Windows Device Manager it states that it is "working fine"

    Can someone help?
