Branchcache the Webdav-shared folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Due to security requirements between our office (Philippines as main / Taiwan as branch), we've enabled Webdav from our shared folder on a server hosted in the Philippines. This Webdav URL, we mount in Taiwan branch as a drive.

We want to speed up our access to our Webdav resource in TW, therefore I found out about branchcache.

    Philippine Server : Windows 2012 R2 Standard

Taiwan Hosted Cache Server : Windows 2012 R2 Standard

Taiwan Client : Windows 10 Enterprise

    These are 2 separate forests

    • VPN is not an option
    • AD Trust is not an option

The WebDav resource is being proxied via cloudflare.

Question: Is it possible to cache the webdav mounted drive using branchcache?
