strange networking share problem between xp and 7

    General discussion

  • the shared folder on windows 7 are working perfectly with most computers on the network,

only one windows xp computers, when the shared folder stopped working, we have to restart windows 7 pro, then the shared folders back to work again.

there two NIC CARD, I disable one, still the same problem,

there is hidden wifi adaptor which no longer in use (unplugged),

I checked all the settings on windows 7 pro: network discovery is on,

turn on the file and printer sharing, ... all the setting are ready for xp sharing,

and once I restart the win 7 pro, the problem is gone.

but if the problem happened, without restart win 7, the xp never connect to win 7, it show some

errors: is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource

On xp, I reset winsock, ip stack, check the local policy, none of them working,

this afternoon, on xp machine, I turned off "Offline Files Client Side Cache "

but at the same time I restart the win 7 , so I am not too sure if the "offline files client side cache" did the job or not.
