Lab setup Hyper-V sysprep Windows 2008 R2 Activation RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V server that I want to use for my lab environment.  Everything is working fine thus far.  I have a Technet Subscription and would like to create a single Windows 2008 R2 image that is sysprep'd.  I can get that working, but than I have to re-activate the server after the server is live.  I need to have some of my test servers up for over 6 months.  What is the easiest way to get this done without introducing KMS or any of those licensing management tools.  I was able to quickly do this with Windows 2003 R2, just not any of the newer products.  Looking for some recommendations and what others are doing.
