Event ID for cluster services RRS feed

  • Dear Sir

    I checked there have some event ID under system in below for cluster services in Windows server 2003.  May I have your advise that those events also apply to Windows server 2008??  Thanks for your suggestion.

    Event ID: 51, 1009, 1040, 1062, 1069, 1122, 1123, 1135

  • Event ID 51 and 1040 aren't cluster events in 2003...so they also aren't cluster events in 2008.

    Yes, event ID messages in 2003 should be the same in Windows 2008. The only difference in Windows 2008 clustering is that most Informational messages (such as the 1122 & 1123 events) are only logged to the Failover Clustering event log instead of cluttering the system event logs.
