disable high contrast keyboard shortcut

    Question

  • I work in a large school district using Windows 7. Students are using the left ALT-Shift-PrintScreen keyboard shortcut, at both the login screen and desktop screen, to turn on high contrast. Due to other settings in GP, they cannot use the same keyboard shortcut to turn off high contrast. They have been blocked from changing their desktop, etc.

Fairly new at GP, looking for way to block the keyboard shortcut.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

As far as I know, this couldn't be achieved through group policy. You may need a hot key scripting. Have a look at below:
    Overriding or Disabling Hotkeys

You can also ask scripting forum to see if they have any good examples: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ITCG/threads
