    Hi,

    I have one machine running Windows XP and I am unable to make a connection via RDP to Windows Server 2016.
    I have managed to make successful connection to Windows 2012 and even Windows 10 with latest build.

    I have edited these registry keys

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa  -adding tspkg

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders  -adding credssp.dll

    Also updated RDP client on winXP to 7.0 enviroment

    I have tried 2 different machines with 2016 system.
    The connection is not refused by any error (EventViewer is empty on both machines). RDP ask for credentials and then show message "Cant connect to the remote computer try it later" 
    Do you have any ideas how to solve it ?

    I found the problem..

    The workstation with XP was not up to date... I had to install all the updates and now it works.
