Unable to create tasks using task scheduler RRS feed

  • I am attempting to create a task using task scheduler and I am getting the error "Transaction support within the specified resource manager is not started or was shutdown due to an error..

    I ran fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ with elevated privilages and rebooted the server but the error still appears. Is there anything else I could try?

  • Hi,

     

    When you try to use Windows Task Scheduler to change the defrag schedule, you may receive the following error message:

    Transaction support within the specified file system resource manager is not started or was shut down due to an error.

     

    This issues occur because the Windows file system transaction log is corrupted.  This Fix it Solution resets the file system transaction log.
