Hi All,
I am new to Office 365 and trying to implement SSO for office 365. I am wondering is Office 365 supports any Open Standards based federation protocols like SAML 2.0 or SAML 1.x or WS- Federation? I had looked at the documentation related to setting federation
with Office 365. It's all look messy with setting up directory synchronization, domains, power shell modules... and least ADFS .
If answer to my question is "No. Office 365 don't support standardized federation protocols" here is my next questions. Why Microsoft choosing it so? Is it included SAML 2.0 in roadmap or not. Is Microsoft fearing that it will lose money
by using Openstandards because people won't have to buy licenses for AD/ ADFS?
Please all, let me know your thoughts on this . Thanks
