  • Hello Sanjay,

    I found a registry key to hide the favorite from the Windows Explorer. We don’t recommend you to modify the registry, please backup the sub-key before removing it:

    Warning: While this solution solves the issue or problem, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. For more information about modifying the registry, see Microsoft support article 256986.

    1.       On the server which you want to disable Favorite, open Registry Editor (regedit.exe)

    2.       Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}

    3.       Backup the key {031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5} .

    4.       Delete {031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}.

    5.       Check if the Library has been removed from Windows Explorer and Save As window.

    Thanks.

  • SIlcom & Lionel -- I found a similar post to yours above:

    but it seems like it only works for console and RDP sessions -- the Libraries don't seem to disapear when users connect via a XenApp/Terminal Server session.

    Any known ways to block "Libraries" for everyone?

    thanks...
