    Hi,
    This is proably the wrong forum, but I will ask.

    I created a new Excel 2007 .XLSX file via the ODBC Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb) driver. When I opened the file, I received the following message:

    When the file is opened and saved with Excel, the file type that is not supported will be displayed.

    Please re specify the saved file type in the Save As dialog box.

    How to specify the character set format of the file as UTF-8 when creating an xlsx file?

    Hi,

    Please try this method:

    1. Go to File- Save As- Open Save As dialog box:

    2. Select Tool option- Web Options...- open Web options dialog box:

    3. Under Encoding tab- select Save this document as: Unicode (UTF-8):
