你可以考虑使用Exchange在线或缓存模式，然后让用户在本地创建PST档，将邮件都转移到本地PST档中，这样就可以减少服务器端的存储压力，但坏处是一旦用户本地PST档丢失或者损坏，可能造成用户邮件丢失。

POP3模式是将服务器上的邮件下载到本地客户端上，默认是不会下载已发送邮件和垃圾邮件的，所以当你在outlook上配置为POP3模式接收邮件时，你在OWA上看到的垃圾邮件和已发送邮件默认都是不会被下载到outlook中的。
你可以将outlook配置为IMAP模式，IMAP协议提供服务器与outlook之间的双向通信，可以将OWA中的所有邮件都同步到outlook客户端上。
或者，你也可以直接使用outlook在线模式，收发邮件更为方便。

您好，IMAP模式会同步服务器和outlook，但是由于预算的问题，没有做邮件的存档，每个用户邮箱的容量是有限的，邮箱容量满了以后，有什么好的解决方法？用pop/smtp的原因之一就是可以把服务器上的比较久远的邮件收到本地来，减少服务器端的邮件数量，用户邮箱不会占满。 -
