hash mismatch{in SFC log} & (0*c0000005 error on every new application) / window 7 RRS feed

  • 问题

  • Hi, well there is an error (0*c0000005) which pops up every time i try to install a new app and also pop up on regular basis for a antivirus program i use. so i go through sfc scan to deal with this. sfc scan shows the following result :  "windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."

so i go to the SFC details to check the corrupted files and i found multiple files which says:

    1) cannot repair member file

    2) could not reproject corrupted files

On the end of both these lines following text was written: "Hash mismatch"

    what should i do now?

    Somebody help please!

  • Hi ,

Please try to take following steps to manually replace a corrupted system file with a known good copy of the file. (You need to get a known good copy of the system file from another computer that is running the same version of Windows with your computer.)

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

When there are multiple file problems detected on sfc /scannow that could not be fixed using the system update readiness tool often the best option is system restore.

In addition, please understand, windows 7 support has been ended on January 14, 2020. Technical assistance and software updates from Windows Update that help protect your PC are no longer available for the product. Microsoft strongly recommends that you move to Windows 10 to avoid a situation where you need service or support that is no longer available.
