    DPM 2010 自动“分配的磁盘”大量浪费问题

    需求：文件服务某目录为150GB 左右， 备份时间要求为64天， 每天一个还原点；

    配置：新建保护组，保持期64天， 每天3点建立恢复点，系统向导自动分配的空间高达2011GB;

    问题：运行半年后查看“磁盘使用”报告， 发现该保护组“分配的磁盘”是2011GB，而“已用磁盘”只有154GB；系统自动分配的空间是否存在巨大浪费？如何规避？

    When you backup a folder, DPM still calculates the storage size based on the size of the drive that hosts the folder, not based on the folder size. In the situation, click Modify button when creating a protection group and then click Calculate, then DPM will calculate the size based on the folder size.
