Outlook\Exchange + Room Mailbox

    問題

  • Hi All,

Need some help here....driving me crazy!

    We have Exchange 2010

Outlook 2010 and 2016 PC - Outlook 2016 for Mac

Created a Room Mailbox where user can add meeting requests and can only be approved by delegates.  The only person who has Manage Full Access Permission is the delegate/s.

    Out-of Policy Request - Allusers

In Policy Request - Selected Recipients are the delegates.  Specify who can submit...... is Allusers.

On 2018 for PC, Meeting request and appointment are greyed out.

2010 - Works as it should, user creates a request and the delegate accepts, declines etc

On a MAC, the user/client creates an entry.....it gets added and delegate doesn't receive the request.

    Thanks

  • Hi asabadin,

Thanks for visiting our forum. Then here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. Since your problem is more related to Exchange 2010, I'll move your thread to the dedicated forum for Exchange 2010 for better response.

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Hi asabadin,

To narrow down this issue, I have some things to confirm with you:

    1. What do you mean about:

    Out-of Policy Request - Allusers

In Policy Request - Selected Recipients are the delegates. Specify who can submit...... is Allusers.

    2. What do you mean "On 2018 for PC"?

    3. Do you mean in Outlook 2016 for Windows, the button in the the picture below are greyed out.

In Outlook for MAC, user could send request to room mailbox, however delegate doesn't receive the request.

In Outlook 2010 for Windows, there doesn't exist any problem with meeting request?

    Regards,

    Kyle Xu
