Windows Server 2003 R2 + SP2 Media from Microsoft? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there an official ISO from Microsoft for Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 Integrated in? Asking for both Standard and Enterprise...

    Thanks...

    Right now I'm using:

    R2 Standard x64 - BX2SXVOL_EN.iso

    R2 Enterprise x64 - BX2EXVOL_EN.iso

    Wanted to know if there are newer iso's to make the update process post-server install quicker.

  • Hi,

    From the problem description, I understand that you would like to find an official ISO from Microsoft for Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 integrated in.

    Ø  If you have purchased the licenses of the Windows Server 2003, you could check your licenses and download these IOS via the link (https://licensing.microsoft.com); and you could download the official ISO from Microsoft for Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 Integrated;

    Ø  If you don’t have purchased the licenses of the Windows Server 2003, . You can use the /integrate switch method or the Update.exe utility method to perform this task. These methods help you run an in-place upgrade to Windows Server 2003 SP2 if the original Windows installation disc is an earlier version of Windows Server 2003.

    For more detailed information, there is a link for your reference:
