Biography
My name is Brennan Crowe and I was a Security Support Engineer on the Microsoft Forefront Edge CTS Security team based in Las Colinas Until October 31, 2011. I had been with Microsoft since September 29, 1997. Prior to joining the Security organization, I was with the Windows Server Platforms Networking Team. I have a BA in Economics from the University of North Texas, a MBA in Global Business from the University of Dallas, and currently, I am a candidate for a Master of Science Degree in Information Assurance from the University of Dallas. I have the MCP, MCTIP, MCSA +Security, MCSE +Security, MCT, C|EH, ACE, ITIL Foundations and the CISSP certifications.
My philosophy on Security is preservation of human life primarily, then using best judgment in making risk analysis and assessment with appropriate countermeasures for the protection of business assets based on fundamental cost/benefit analysis. In short, do what is necessary but don’t go overboard with the cost so they don’t outweigh the benefit.
