Microsoft Computer Science Teachers Council
The Microsoft Computer Science Teachers Council is composed of three types of members:
Microsoft Employees:
Who lead computer science languages and tools and are passionate about leveraging those resources for educating children and adults about computer science.
Who lead programs to integrate computer science into educational systems.
Teachers
or assistants who teach computer science to students of all ages, from Kindergarten to College.
Curriculum Providers
or organizers of programs who seek to help set up teachers for success.
The council exists for the following purposes:
To find opportuni
ties to integrate Microsoft languages and tools into education, where it appropriately fits to meet existing needs.
To collaborate around improving and sharing curriculum for these technologies.
To help support teachers who are using Microsoft languages and tools to teach computer science.
To share tips and best practices for teaching computer s
cience to the various age groups and regions.
