As consumers in emerging markets such as Iran travel more abroad and come in contact with excellent service, they tend to translate such services to needs of providers in Iran. Also, they tend to demand more and at the same time share their experiences
with other consumers through on-line social media. This has forced many local service providers to discuss customer relationship management at board level and putting CRM agenda on their forefront.
Such shift has made local companies to put implementation of CRM concepts in their organizations.
Many think that a simple purchase of local CRM applications, which hardly anything like a CRM application, or a pirated Microsoft dynamics CRM, will get them to their goal.
This is far from the truth. Implementation of CRM concept requires a surgical approach.
