Richard has spent most of his professional life in Information Technology. Responsibilities included programming, project management, network configuration, budgeting, computer modeling of systems, software deployment, and desktop configuration. In the past
Richard worked for a consulting engineering firm, a large electric utility, and with a partner in a company supporting small customers and selling software to track school lunches.
Richard was first named Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in 2003. He has been named every year since, the last time in April 2016. He is also designated an MCC (Microsoft Community Contributor) for contributions to Microsoft online communities.
