What is Azure?

Azure is Microsoft's cloud computing platform. Azure is a system of increasing cloud services that help your business overcome the challenges it may face in the future. Azure offers the ability to build, manage, and deploy applications on an incredibly large and global network using your favorite tools and frameworks.

What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is  the  distribution of computing services over the Internet using a pay-as-you-go pricing model. In other words, it is a service that allows you to rent the processing power and storage space in someone else's data center.

Instead of keeping CPUs and storage in your data center, you lease them as long as you need them. The cloud provider takes care of the basic infrastructure.

You can use cloud resources like resources in your own data center. When you're done, you give it back. You pay only for what you use.

While this approach is great, the main value of the cloud is that it enables you to quickly solve your challenges and deliver the latest technologies to your users.

Why should I move to the cloud?

With the cloud, you can move faster and innovate in ways that used to be nearly impossible.

Two new trends have emerged in our constantly changing digital world:

Teams offer new features to their users at record speed.
End users expect a richer and more inclusive experience in their devices and software every day.
Software releases used to be planned at monthly or even annual intervals. Teams are now publishing features in smaller groups. Releases are now scheduled for daily or weekly intervals. Some teams even offer software updates on an ongoing basis. Sometimes multiple versions are released on the same day.

Think of your device interactions that weren't possible like a few years ago. Many devices can recognize your face and respond to your voice commands. Augmented reality is changing the way you interact with the physical world. Even household appliances are starting to act smart. These technologies are just a few examples of innovations, most of which are implemented by the power of the cloud.

The cloud offers optional access to:

An almost unlimited pool of raw compute, storage and network components.
Speech recognition and other cognitive services that help your app get ahead of its competitors.
Analysis services that allow you to understand the telemetry data you receive from your software and devices.
Let's take a look at the role Azure plays in cloud computing.

What can I do in Azure?

Azure blue offers more than 100 types of assistance that permit you to do everything from running your current applications in virtual machines to exploring new software paradigms such as smart robots and mixed reality.

Many teams distribute your existing applications to virtual machines running in Azure to start exploring the cloud. While migrating your existing applications to virtual machines is a good starting point, the cloud is much more than a "new place to run your virtual machines".

For example, artificial intelligence and machine learning services offered by Azure can naturally communicate with your users through sight, hearing and speech. Azure also has storage solutions that expand dynamically to store large amounts of data. Azure services make possible solutions that wouldn't make sense to implement without the power of the cloud.

Hope it helps you.
