I'm using Windows Server 2012 and have scheduled my tasks to run whether user logged on or not, however, if I logged off, the tasks won't start and if I start it and then log off, it will stop and failed.
The "Last run result" shows:
The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not logged on to the network.
The specified service does not exist (0x80074dd).
And in the task history:
What am I doing wrong? By the way, I'm doing this on the admin account.
Use the domain admin account to run this task and make sure the checkbox “Run with highest privilege” is checked. If your task or the batch file involves a mapped network place, please use UNC path
\\ServerName\ShareName\FolderName instead of using Z:\FolderName. Also make sure your account has full control over this Folder.
