XP Pro, hold down the shift key, after log in to skip the items in your startup folder. Is there a similar key or process that can be done to skip the items listed in your: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Hi, you can run msconfig from the start menu -->Run-->Msconfig--> enter.
From MSconfig you can select the startup tab, which are the same items under the same registry key above, and you can also perform a selective startup under the general tab and unckeck the load startup items box.
