I use customized Explorer views extensively to open folders containing files I need to use regularly. I use a shortcut like this: explorer.exe /root,C:\MyFolder
While this does open Explorer to the MyFolder location, it insists on showing Favorites, Libraries, Computer, each drive letter, and Network above the so-called "root". When I open Explorer with the root switch, it is not just because I want to access that folder, but also because I do not want to see Favorites, Libraries, Network, etc. I know I can turn off the navigation pane, but that complicates access among folders inside.
How can I open Explorer in root view without all the unnecessary clutter?
